MEETING: Called to order by President Jim Gillis @ 7 PM

SECRETARIES REPORT: Accepted as read.


Trustee report: – Some technical difficulties with 240 repeater – Repair requested from Emergency Management
Club Radio Station: Open Mike night is Tuesday April 26th @ 7PM – Bob still will obtain an over the desk lockable Wall file cabinet so that club radios can remain operational but locked up as needed – But needs a larger vehicle to pick up and deliver to the American Red Cross Building
AC8SAG Has volunteered to Pick Up
10 Meter Net: Please check in with Jack ( W8PPM ) on Wednesday evenings @ 8PM local – Freq: 28380 MHZ (alternate 28.390 or 28.370 MHZ if busy) Topic’s of interest are always welcome
VE Testing: Held @ the Allegan Hospital Cafeteria. Price is $15 and You need two forms of identification including a copy of Your current license (if You have one) – Next session 5/28
Allegan County ARPSC: Next meeting is scheduled for April 14th @ 7pm @ the Door Fire Station
Allegan County SAR still needs Hams for their communications – Contact Ron KD8CHT
Allegan County CERT: There are Cert Games set for Lowell during the weekend of May 21 – Contact KD8LZT or N8WVI for details – Your entry fee, meals and room are paid by County Emergency Management
Field Day & Fly IN : June 25th – Contact co Chairs W8PPM & WB3LHU with any ideas
Allegan County Fair-Radio demonstration: W8TEZ is Committee Chair for September 9, 10th & 11 operation: Entrance & Parking tickets for volunteers that take a 4 hr shift is again offered- Please contact Tom to sign up for Your slot .
Red Cross Clean Up : Coincides with Open Mike Night (4/26) But starts @ 5PM – Bring your favorite cleaning tools ( Vacuum cleaner, window cleaner, toilet cleanser, rakes, shrubbery shears, etc, etc,) Pizza & Pop will be provided by the club- – Vitales by voice vote!!)

440 Repeater: Awaiting for improved weather for installation of antenna . New control board was purchased and installed . Installation is provided free of charge. Frequency is 444.925, with PL of 94.8
Mentioned: US House Bill 605 has serious loss of the Amateur segment of 440 MHZ – Please write Your congress Representative and sound off!!

AA8L will also offer a updated Satellite communications talk @ a future meeting
General Class License & Ham in a day Classes

ARRL CLUB Affiliation All information submitted by WB3LHU on 3.5.11 has rendered official Club affiliation with the ARRL. New Charter is on it way!!!
ACTION: WB3LHU to find out how the club can now get rebates offered by the ARRL when member s renew their ARRL Memberships
WD8MBT: Need copy of the club License to exhibit at the Red Cross Station

Antenna Outreach Needed: Some older hams who cannot maintain their antennas have asked the Club for assistance: KB8YTR & N8MPU – See Jim AC8AG, or KD8LZT ofr helping

CLUB DUES: FOR 2011 Can be paid to Nancy at any time – $20/annual
